HERTA KRIETZ With the love and comfort of her family at her side, Herta Krietz entered into eternal rest on Thursday, December 30 at the Health Sciences Centre after a long battle with kidney disease. Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband Arthur and children, Caroline (Melvin), Clarence, Terry (Dawn), Linda (Myron), Darlene (Gary), Debbie (Brian), Kathy (Brad) and grandchildren, Jerry, Curtis, Christine, Nicholas, Andy, Alyssha, Matthew, Riley, Dakota, Katie, Denise, Allan, Nicole and Diane. She is also survived by her sisters, Martha, Blandine, Remida and Rosie. Herta was born in Poland in April 12, 1930 and immigrated to Emerson, Manitoba. There she met and married Arthur and later settled in Winnipeg. A kind and gentle person, her life was dedicated to her family. Even during her illness her families needs were placed above her own. The family would like to express their thanks to the Sherbrook Dialysis Unit, HSC MICU for the care she received. There will be a public viewing on Tuesday, January 4 from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. A private family service will be held on Wednesday. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Wpg, MB, R3C 0S6 or to the Kidney Foundation, 200 - 55 Donald St., Wpg, MB, R3C 1L8. May you soar high within the sky to a place where your deepest fulfillment lies. Dont be afraid, we havent let go Youll always be right by our side.
