FRANCES van der MOLEN (nee FEENSTRA) On December 31, 1999, the Lord took unto himself our dearly beloved Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Frances was born on April 25, 1932 in Friesland. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Fred of 45 years; son Paul (Jane) of Edmonton, AB; daughter Alice (Joe) Cuscito and their children, Ryan, Riley and Leah; son Richard (Grace) and their children, Paige and Monique, all of Lansing, IL. Also left to cherish her memory are numerous brothers and sisters here and in Holland. Frances was employed as a caretaker at the Transcona Memorial United Church for 20 years. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the caring staff at St. Boniface Hospital and to the many friends who gave Mom strength and encouragement through their many cards, letters and visits to the hospital. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 4 at 1:00 p.m. from the Transcona Christian Reformed Church, 6 Kern Drive, with Pastor David Swinney, Rev. Jeff Cook and Rev. Carol Fletcher officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, 100 Olivia Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3E 9Z9. PSALM 23 "The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His names sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." GREEN ACRES FUNERAL CHAPEL 222-3241
