JOAN BARR (nee BECKETT) It is with deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our dear mother and grandmother, Joan Barr, on December 31, 1999 at the age of 70 years. Lovingly remembered and sadly missed, she leaves her children, Brent and wife Caryle, Karen Saunders and husband Greg; grandchildren, Dayna, Devynne, Dustyn Barr and Kevin Saunders; sister Joyce and husband Stan Joyce; brother-in-law Bill and wife Doris; sister-in-law Eileen and husband Norman Pound; close friends Greta Sango and pat Streib, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Art in 1991. A memorial service to celebrate Joans life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 4 at Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day Street with Rev. Fred Rupert officiating. Flowers are gratefully declined.
