NORMAN DICKSON Peacefully after a short illness, Norman Dickson passed away on Thursday, December 30 at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 80 years. Norm was predeceased by his wife Donnie in 1994. He is survived by son Greg (Margret) grandchildren, Curtis and Brad; brother Tom (Ruby) and numerous nephews and nieces. Norm was born in Winnipeg on March 23, 1919. He served overseas during Second World War and upon returning joined the City of Winnipeg Fire Department rising to the rank of Captain. Dad also had numerous part time jobs, the most recent being a driver for Gold Leaf Limousine Services, transporting numerous dignitaries around the City. Dad enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting in the area of Melita, MB. Upon retirement he spent several winters in McAllan, Texas. At Dads request a private family service will be held at Wojciks Funeral Chapel. Our family would like to thank nurse Ann and the Fourth Floor staff at the Victoria Hospital. Flowers are graciously declined but as an expression of sympathy, donations in Norms memory may be made to the Firefighters Burn Fund Inc., 202 - 666 St. James St., Winnipeg, MB, R3G 3J6.
