Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN WILLIAM (JACK) BREWER Peacefully, after a short illness, Jack Brewer passed away in the Concordia Hospital on Sunday, December 19, 1999 at the age of 85 years. He will be remembered by his son Edward; daughters, Shirley of Nanaimo, BC, Debbie (Stan) Nordal of Edmonton and Susan of Cobble Hill, BC; their mother Miriam; his granddaughter Desiree and great-grandson Saorsa of Quadra Island, BC. Jack is also survived by his twin sister Mary Duchart of McCreary, MB and sister Annie Bamforth of Winnipeg, as well as nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and by one sister Alice Fallows. Jack served his country overseas for five years with the Fort Garry Horse Regiment during the Second World War and had been an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Transcona Branch No. 7. Prior to his retirement in 1974, Jack had been employed at Dominion Malting for many years. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. from the Royal Canadian Legion, Transcona Branch No. 7 (117 Regent Avenue East) with Padre Paul Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Transcona Cemetery, Field of Honour. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jacks memory to the Manitoba Lung Association, 629 McDermott Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R3A 1P6. GREEN ACRES FUNERAL CHAPEL 222-3241
