WILMA B. CARDIN (nee LEWIS) Wilma Cardin, age 80, passed away peacefully on December 24, 1999 at the Purdy Pavilion, University of British Columbia Hospital with family present. Wilma was predeceased by her husband Wilfrid in June of 1963. She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Lewis (Dianne) of Vancouver, Gary of Surrey, Brian (Susan) of Aurora, Ont. and grandchildren, Nicole (Ric McKerracher), Sharon, Jesse and Andrea. Wilma enjoyed a long career as secretary at St. James Collegiate in Winnipeg where she made many life-long friends of staff and students. She retired in 1984. A funeral service will be held at Sturgeon Creek United Church, 207 Thompson Dr. at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, January 3, 2000 with Rev. Dianne Cardin officiating. Interment will be held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be appreciated. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
