Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBERNADETTE FRASER Peacefully and with family present, following a short illness, it is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bernadette Fraser on December 29, 1999 at the Grace General Hospital. Bernadette will be lovingly remembered by her husband Ken Fraser; three sisters, Doreen Johnston and Merita Maddess of Deloraine, MB and Elvene (Roy) Good of Saskatoon, SK.; three nieces and nephews and their families; a sister-in-law Kathleen Fraser and family of Salmon Arm BC, Donna Jean Gerrier, Virden MB and Darlene Newton of Wetaskiwin, AB. Bernadette was predeceased by her parents; three brothers-in-law, Donald Johnston, Arthur Maddess and Ian (Scotty) Fraser; also sister-in-law Eleanor Magee. Born at Alida, SK on June 10, 1918, she was the daughter of Susie and John A. Montgomery. At an early age the family moved to Deloraine, MB., where she received her education. Later they moved to Oakbank, MB., where she became an apiarist before joining the RCAF (W.D.). Bernadette served overseas for three years during the Second World War. Bernadette and Ken were married on June 10, 1960 and they resided in Winnipeg until her passing. Visitation will take place on Sunday, January 2, 2000 at 4:30 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Avenue. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 3 at 10:00 a.m. also in the Leatherdale Gardiner Chapel. Interment will follow in Deloraine, MB. The family is very grateful to the nurses and staff of 3 South of the Grace General Hospital - Thank You All.
