NORA NICHOLSON On December 24, 1999, Nora Nicholson our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully after a brief illness at the Victoria General Hospital. Nora was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1924. She came to Canada in 1951 and has made many friends over the years. She will be sadly missed by two special friends, Peggy and Ethel. Nora was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank, January 11, 1999; her sister Sadie, May 1999 and her grandson Adam, December 14, 1998. She leaves to mourn her daughter Arlene (Ken) Janzen; son Norman (Veronika) and three grandchildren, Laura, Curtis and Noah; her special sister May, sister Doreen and numerous nieces and nephews in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Cremation has taken place. A private family service has already taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Noras memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301-352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8.
