WILLIAM SMITH 1918 - 1999 Peacefully on December 27th, 1999 with his family at his side, William Smith passed away at the age of 81 years. William will be sadly missed by his family, his wife Madeline; daughters, Fiona (Luigi), Ailsa (Tim) and Janesca (John) sons, Callum (Tacie), Stuart, Ian (Pam) and Duncan. He also leaves his sisters Nessie, May and Margaret as well as numerous grandchildren, relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 31 at 4:30 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with Pastor Henry Neufeld officiating. The family would like to thank the staff at the Johnson Memorial Hospital, Gimli for the care shown to William. If friends so wish, donations in Williams name can be made to the Johnson Memorial Hospital, 117 - 7th Ave., Gimli. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements.
