Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARTIN TUSA Suddenly on Tuesday, December 28, 1999, Martin Tusa aged 66 years, peacefully went home to God. He was predeceased by his parents and a sister Mary. He leaves to grieve his wife Jeanne of 32 years; daughters, Colleen (Glenn) Danchak, Cheryl (Chris) Tusa, Karen and Heather Tusa; three grandchildren, Jordan, Bryce and Cassandra. Also surviving are his sisters and brother Arnold (Larissa) Tusa, Esther Tusa, Clara Ruhr; Sister Rosalia Tusa, Anna (Ed) Shire and Eva Melenchuk, as well as many nieces and nephews. Martin was born November 8, 1933 in Cupar, Sask. He served with the R.C.M.P. force for many years in British Columbia and Ontario. After leaving the force, he went to work for Associates Finance. In 1965, he was honoured and awarded Manager of the Year. After meeting and marrying his wife Jeanne, he started and successfully ran El Toro Motors (1967) in St. Boniface until retiring. He will be remembered for his salesmans smooth tongue, sense of humour and love of gardening and Western wear. Prayers will be said on Sunday, January 2, 2000 at Knysh Funeral Chapel, 1020 Main St. at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 3, 2000 at Our Lady of Victory Roman Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery. Rev. Fr. Henryk Laciak officiating. The family would like to thank nurse Lydia and Father Roland at St. Boniface Hospital Emergency for their kindness and all staff involved.
