Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVINCENT VICTOR PAULICELLI "SPOTTY" It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Vincent (Spotty) Paulicelli at the age of 75. Peacefully with Dee Dee by his side on December 31, 1999 at the Concordia Hospital. Vincent was predeceased by his father, Francesco; mother, Lena; sisters, Mina, Olive, Jean and brothers, John, Joseph and Michael. He leaves to mourn brother Ernie, many nieces and nephews and long time friends Dee Dee, Bernie and Josh Holm. Vincent was born in Winnipeg August 27, 1924. He was a 47 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion Number 7 and served 2 years as a gunner in the Second World War. He started at the CNR Transcona Shops in 1941 where his first job was opening that gate at 6:00 a.m. for the trains to leave and pick up employees in Winnipeg and bring them back to the Transcona Shops. The day ended as the gate closed at 6:00 p.m. He worked his way up to a Carman and retired after 40 years of service in 1981. He enjoyed the garden, growing his tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers. He also had a love for the great outdoors and fun times at the Ruchkall Cottage. He was a competitive card player winning first place in the first annual Joseph Paulicelli Memorial Horseshoe/Crib Tournament in Grand Marais last summer. Spotty will always be remembered for his kindness, warm heart and open invitations to the Famous Spaghetti dinners. He always had a joke to tell or a trick to show. Whenever you needed a friend he would be there for you and he would open his house to anyone in need. The family would like to thank Ben Clarke for his guidance and Bob and Nellie Greenaway for their friendship. He will be sadly missed by his family and his many Family and Friends. Pallbearers, Dean Paulicelli, Phillip Paulicelli, Michael Paulicelli, Kerry Paulicelli, Bernie Holm and Brock Short. Honorary pallbearers: "Everyone in Attendance".
