HELGI JOHN JOHNSON Peacefully on Sunday, January 2, 2000 at Betel Home, Selkirk, with his wife and son by his side, Helgi John Johnson passed away, aged 80 years. Predeceased by his parents, David and Margaret Johnson; a baby brother; and his beloved daughter Karen; he leaves to mourn his loss, his loving wife Yole of 49 years; son David (Michelle) Johnson; grandsons, Scott and Paul Johnson, David and Gregory; son-in-law Glen Fox; and grandsons, Rodney and Jason, Innisfail, Alta.; his sister Laufey Olson of Winnipeg. He lived all his life in Selkirk, Man.; worked for over 43 years at Manitoba Rolling Mills. He enjoyed several cruises and bus tours. He was a kind and loving husband and father and will also be greatly missed by many friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Fuchs for his many years of care, also the staff and doctor at Betel Home for their care. Cremation has taken place. At Helgis request, no service will take place. Private family interment will follow.
