PIERRE At the St. Boniface General Hospital on January 2, 2000, surrounded by his loving family, Eugene St. Pierre passed away at the age of 71. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Therese (nee Lanthier) one sister Alma Richard; one brother Leo; five sisters-in-law, Mrs. Rita Trudeau (nee Lanthier), Lorraine St. Pierre (nee Cote) Leona St. Pierre (nee Skyhar), Lilianne Millier (nee Lanthier), Lucille Lanthier; two brothers-in-law, Fernand Trudeau and Roger Millier; many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and friends. After spending several years in Vancouver, Eugene and his wife moved back to Winnipeg. He was employed as a lab attendant at the St. Boniface Research Centre until his retirement. Eugene was a man of great qualities. He was always ready to render services with a smile. He loved fishing, dancing and playing cards. He was loved by everyone who knew him and will be sadly missed by all. "Eugene we love you and always will. You will remain in our prayers forever." Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 5 at the St. Eugene Roman Catholic Church, with Fr. Marcel Toupin presiding. Service will terminate at the church with cremation to follow. Viewing will take place at 1:30 p.m. until the time of service. The family wishes to thank the St. Boniface General Hospital for their excellent services. Flowers gratefully declined.
