GERALD HAINES Peacefully at the Deer Lodge Centre on January 3, 2000, Gerald Haines passed away with his son Godfrey and his friend Bonnie at his side. Gerald was predeceased by his wife Dagmar; his siblings and his first wife Mary Rose, mother of their four children. He will be sadly missed by his children, Colin (Donna), Godfrey (Maria), Maureen and Lynda (Roy) sister Miss Violet Haines; and grandchildren Douglas, Korine, Lorne, Kirk and Eric. He will also be missed by his friend Bonnie Korzenowski. Gerald was a veteran of the Second World War. Small in stature, he was stately in presence, always the "dapper" dresser. Gerald was a fiercely independent man, quick witted and generous. He valued and was enjoyed by many friends. A memorial service will be held at the Deer Lodge Centre at a later date.
