Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNEIL DAVID KNIGHT February 8, 1933 - December 31, 1999 Neil was born in Durban, Manitoba. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Cynthia (nee McDonald) and two sisters, Isabel and Peggy. He is survived by his beloved wife Helen of 45 years; son Trent; two daughters, Deborah (Rudy) and Michelle (Kurt) four grandsons, (A.K.A. the four Musketeers) - Anthony, Adam, Kai and Mace. Also survived by four brothers, Edward, Daniel, Alvin and Jack and one sister June. Neil and Helen met on New Years Eve in 1953. Neil loved life and his family and believed in living life to the fullest. People gravitated towards Neil because of his charismatic personality and passion for life. He was a kind and generous man who was proud to be a Big Brother for over 15 years. He formerly lived in Winnipeg and retired in Sooke, B.C. A special thanks to the Emergency and C.C.U. wards at Victoria General Hospital for all their support and compassion. Funeral service will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel, 317 Goldstream Avenue, Colwood, on Tuesday, January 4 at 1:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to Hatley Memorial Gardens. Donations in Neils memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 276 - 2950 Douglas Street, Victoria, V8T 4N4 or the B.C.
