LEROY JESSE KENNETH CHARTIER Suddenly on Wednesday, January 5, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Leroy Jesse Kenneth Chartier, infant son of Lorette and Kenneth Chartier of Grand Rapids. Although Leroys stay on this earth was short, he brought joy and love to his parents and family. Besides his loving parents, he leaves to cherish his beautiful memory, three sisters, Grace, Rosemary and Demoley; grandparents, Samuel and Miriam Chartier, Roy and Mary Umpherville and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Wake service will be held on Thursday, January 6 at the residence of Kenneth Chartier in Grand Rapids. Wake service will also be held on Friday, January 7 at the Chief Peter Beardy Memorial Centre in Grand Rapids. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 8 at 11:00 a.m. at the St. James Anglican Church, Grand Rapids with Rev. Douglas Highway officiating. Interment to follow at the Grand Rapids Reserve Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Kevin Chartier, Clinton Chartier, Jules Umpherville and Reggie Umpherville. Honorary pallbearers are all the Chartier and Umpherville families. No stain was on his little heart Sin had not entered there; And innocence slept sweetly on That pale white brow so fair.
