ANNIE KULMATYCKI (HOPKO) April 18, 1914 - January 5, 2000 In our extreme sorrow we announce the passing of our dear mother, baba, sister and friend. Annie was predeceased by her husband William in 1995. Also predeceasing her, infant daughter Julie; father Nicholas; mother Sophia; brothers, Mike, Peter, Bill, Jim and sisters, Jessie, Mary, Rosie and Lena. Surviving Annie are her daughters, Natalie Anniuk (Edward), Marian Swanson (George), Christine Burnett and only son Bill (Diane). Also surviving are grandchildren, Beverly (Rick), Donald, Curtis, Rob, Jeff, Darren, Jason and Jared; great-grandchildren, Tracy, Alicia and Kari; sisters, Nettie, Alma, Betty and numerous nieces and nephews. Annie was born in Pleasant Home. After marrying William they resided in Sarnia, Ontario, Pleasant Home and Winnipeg before enjoying many years of retirement in Matlock. Annie was a devoted mother and grandmother who put the love of her family first and foremost. For that she will be dearly missed. Prayers will be said at 7:00 p.m., Sunday, January 9 in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 10 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stephens Church, Pleasant Home. Rev. Father A. Harkavij will officiate. Interment will follow in the church yard cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Donald Anniuk, Curtis, Rob and Jeff Burnett, Darren Swanson and Jason Kulmatycki. The family would like to thank Dr. R.C. Patel and staff at the Gimli Hospital for all their kindness during Moms numerous stays. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care of the arrangements.
