SANDRA MARJORIE HERR 1984 - 1999 CAROLYN MARIE HERR 1988 - 1999 Tragically, on December 29, 1999, Sandra, 15 years, and Carolyn, 11 years, precious daughters of Greg and Evelyn Herr and loving sisters of Jennifer of Manitouwadge, Ontario, lost their young lives as a result of a car accident near Schreiber, Ontario. Sandy and Carey will be missed immensely by their parents and sister, grandparents, Chris and Marjorie Kay of Whitby, Ontario, and Gordon and Mary Herr of Winnipeg, Manitoba, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Ontario and Manitoba. Both Sandy and Carey were well known and loved by the community in which they lived. Sandy, an honour roll student, enjoyed school and, in particular, her extra curricular activities such as skiing, basketball, and volley ball, relaxing later by watching her favourite movie, True Lies. As intelligent as she was she believed that noodles, fries, and cheese pizza pops were the mainstay of any proper diet. Sandys infectious smile and quiet ways warmed the hearts of many. Carey, Sandys younger sister, was a good friend to all with her sparkling personality and zest for living. Carolyn was a creative little girl which was apparent in the way she dressed, the way she put stickers on everything, the way she decorated her bedroom, and the constant cookie baking for her Grade VI school class. Some of her favourite activities were dancing, singing, playing the piano and listening to music - Much Music and BSB. Sandy and Careys presence in the community will be sadly missed, and the void left in their home in Manitouwadge is indescribable. The family wishes to express sincere appreciation for the tremendous outpouring of love and support shown at the Memorial service held on Monday, January 3 at Manitouwadge, and also at their home. If so desired, donations in memory of Sandra and Carolyn may be made to a charity of choice. Carey and Sandy were both extremely happy with life and with their many friends. They now have each other. Two bright new stars may appear in the heavens, but in the meantime the two new angels are received into the arms of God.
