Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKARL LAKOTA March 17, 1946 - January 7, 2000 It is with heartfelt sadness that the family of Karl Heinz Lakota announce his passing after a short, courageous battle with cancer at the age of 53. Karl was predeceased by his mother Barbara Lakota on December 21, 1998. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Gail; daughters, Rhonda, Kerry and Kathy Lakota of Vancouver, BC, Tamara and Trista Prince of Winnipeg, MB; son Trevor Prince also of Winnipeg; his grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan, Kelsey, Jessy, Madisson and Taylor of Vancouver and Berlin, Samantha and Kiera of Winnipeg. He also leaves to mourn his father William Lakota Sr. and brothers, William Jr. (Irene) and Fred; mother-in-law Florence Prince; brothers-in-law, Fred and Mike (Wanda) Prince; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Karl was employed with Agra Foundations Ltd. until his illness. Gail and the family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Henry and Denise Medeiros, Clifford and Joyce Chief, Claudette and Reed, John and Doreen Gilbey, Ken Thomas and Joe Holland, Brian Stevenson and Glenda Liske for their love and support during Karls last few months. Karl loved going to McPhillips Street Station and playing his Keno. He achieved his final goal by witnessing the new millennium. Flowers gratefully declined. Cremation has taken place and there will be a Memorial Service on Monday, January 10, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Luxton Avenue with Msgr. M. Comeault, P.H.V.F. officiating. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements 586-8044.
