GORDON ALBERT MURRAY It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Gordon Albert Murray of Pinawa on Wednesday, January 5, 2000 at the age of 64. Gordon was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Marjorie, his brother Larry and his first wife, Gayle. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Rolande; his children, Dean (Joanne), Kathy (Tor), Bill (Shirley), Bruce (Tammie) his step-children, Aubrey (Charlene), Rodger (Sylvia), Mike (Crystal), Pam (Yancey) and his 11 grandchildren, Robin, Brittney, Tim, Josh, Breanne, Rodger Jr., Charolette, Nicole, Megan, Cynthia and Jacob. He is survived by his brother, Don (Bev), his sister, Delaine (Fred), his sister-in-law, Claire and numerous nieces and nephews. Gord moved to Pinawa from Winnipeg in 1965. He really enjoyed what the community had to offer as his greatest love was fishing and many other outdoor activities. Gord was a man that touched many hearts in his quiet way. He was always ready and willing to help others. Gord loved Pinawa and will be sadly missed by many friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 10 at 6:00 p.m. at the Pinawa Community Centre. A luncheon will follow at the Pinawa Club. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
