Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryKENNETH HAROLD SHAVER Peacefully, after a long illness, Kenneth Harold Shaver passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2000 at Deer Lodge Centre at the age of 78 years. Kenneth will be lovingly remembered by wife Beverly of forty-nine years; children, Diane (Andy) Haines, Karen (Rick), and Ron (Beverly) grandchildren, Chris and Jen Haines of Winnipeg; brother Robert (Patsy) and sister Helen (Douglas) sister-in-law Eleanor, as well as numerous nieces and nephews all of Montreal. Ken was predeceased by his parents Harold and Irene as well as his brother Bill. Ken always enjoyed family gatherings and especially enjoyed his trips down south to Arizona with his wife Beverly. Ken was an avid sportsman and enjoyed playing hockey and baseball. Ken served 3 years during the Second World War with the Navy. He attended McGill University in Montreal receiving a Bachelor of Commerce and then worked for Cargill Grain for 32 years. A private family interment will be held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family wish to thank the staff of 6W Deer Lodge Centre for their care and concern during Kens stay. Flowers are gratefully declined.
