CATHERINE DAGG On Friday, January 7, 2000 at the Victoria General Hospital, Catherine Dagg, aged 96 years passed away with her loving family at her bedside. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Goldie Dagg in 1986; brothers and sisters, David Derkson, Frank Derkson, Elisabeth (Lucy) Hamm, Bill Derkson, Ann Wiebe, Mary Klassen and grandson John Dagg. She leaves to mourn and celebrate her life; her son Richard (Laura) Dagg; daughter Patricia (Alfred) Tetlock; daughter Mary-Ann (Ted) Playford; grandchildren, Richard (Heidi) Dagg, Carol (Brian) Lang, David (Kathy) Tetlock, Goldie (Pamela) Tetlock, Tracy (Richard) Sherring, Darcy (Marla) Rajczakowski; great-grandchildren, Catherine, Brianne, Erin, Tanya, Curt, Kristopher, Brian, Melanie, David, Robert, Erica, Ryan and Kyla. Brother Peter Derkson and sister Helen Friesen, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Catherine loved her family unconditionally, was proud of their accomplishments and supported them whole heartily in their endeavours. She had an unfailing zest for life. In the past number of years she filled the days with reading, shuffle board, crocheting, various types of embroidery treasures for us all, visiting friends and most favourite of all were the family gatherings. At Catherines request cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 13 at 2:30 p.m. in Bethesda Church, 1350 Grant Avenue. Flowers gratefully declined, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. The family would like to thank the staff of the Victoria General Hospital, as well as the nurses from Medox for their care and support.
