Mom was born and grew up in Zhoda, Manitoba on May 15, 1918. She married Peter in April 19, 1942 and together they raised their family on the farm. Along with farming, they operated a general store in Zhoda. Mom worked very hard in running the store, tending to the farm work and caring for her large family. In 1981, she and Peter moved to Winnipeg and she worked at the Peroghy House for several years. Mom took pride in her family and valued the strong bonds among her children and grandchildren. This she fostered through many family gatherings where we all enjoyed the meals she so lovingly prepared for us. Throughout our lives she has stood by us with her love, support and encouragement in appreciating lifes blessings. Mom, you have left us with many fond memories of the happy family times we were blessed with. Thank you for the generosity of your kindness, concern and love for each of us.
