PETER W. GUENTHER Peacefully in his sleep on Friday, January 7, 2000, Peter W. Guenther passed away at his residence near Kleefeld at the age of 81 years. Dad was predeceased by our mother Helen in 1990, as well as a daughter Patricia Teichroeb in 1993. Left to mourn his passing are his two sons, Jeff (Barb) of Grunthal, Don (Margaret) of Selkirk; three daughters, Loraine (Peter) Haaksma of Lac du Bonnet, Sheila (Norbert) Bremaud of Kleefeld, Sharon (Jake) Ginter of Grunthal; one son-in-law Abe (Tina) Teichroeb of Steinbach; 24 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 12 at 1:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Mennonite Brethren Church in Grunthal with interment to follow in the Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach. Friends may pay their last respects on Tuesday, January 11, 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Loewen Funeral Chapel and at the church prior to the service. Donations may be made in his memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3B 2H8. Arrangements entrusted to Loewen Funeral Chapel, Steinbach.
