WILLIAM "BILL" LICHACZ March 7, 1917 - January 7, 2000 After a brief illness, it is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our brother Bill with his family at his side. Bill was born in La Broquerie, Manitoba. He worked the family farm until 1947, then moved to Winnipeg where he has resided until his passing. Bill was employed in the construction field until retiring. Bill was predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Catherine, five brothers, John, Michael, Stephen, Alex and Peter and sister Anne. He will be sadly missed by his three surviving sisters, Natalie (Nettie), Olga and Helene, all of Winnipeg as well as numerous nieces, nephews, their families and many friends. Bill was a long standing member of the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and his favourite activities were fishing and gardening. At Bills request cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, January 11, at 10:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street with Rev. Deacon Nicholas Kohuch officiating. Private interment will follow at a later date. If friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of their choice. GOD GRANT HIM PEACE Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, 586-8044.
