ANNIE TYMKO Mrs. Annie Tymko, aged 90 years of Winnipeg, formerly of Allegra, MB, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 9, 2000 at the Concordia Hospital in Winnipeg, MB. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family, son Joe (Marion) Tymko of Beausejour and daughter Jean Tymko of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Allan (Michele) Tymko, Kelly (Patti) Tymko, Brenda (Glenn Wiedermann) all of Beausejour; great-grandchildren, Kurtis, Courtney, Danielle, Brandon, and Nolan; her sister Katie Mazur of Beausejour; also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband John in July 1965; her parents, William and Mary Melnyk, five brothers, John, Harry, Steve, Mike and Nick; and her sister Josie Oneschuk. Anne and husband John farmed in Allegra until 1964 at which time they moved to Winnipeg. Anne worked at various jobs until retirement. She enjoyed crafts, cooking, and gardening, also spending time with family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Prayers will be said on Tuesday, January 11 at 7:30 p.m. in the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour. Divine liturgy will be sung on Wednesday, January 12 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Ghost Ukrainian Catholic Church, with Rev. Fr. John Sholdak and Rev. Fr. Walter Klimchuk, the celebrants. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if so desired, donations may be made to the Beausejour & District Hospital or a charity of ones choice. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Bergen, nurses and staff of 2nd Floor East of the Concordia Hospital for their kind support and compassion.
