Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCATHERINE (KAY) GRAHAM Quietly and peacefully on Saturday, January 8, 2000 at the Boyne Lodge in Carman, MB, Catherine (Kay) Graham, aged 90 years, beloved wife of the late John William (Slim) Graham of Carman (formerly of Stephenfield, MB). Mrs. Graham leaves to mourn her son Blair and wife Marie Graham of Stephenfield; her daughter Lauraine and husband Jim Rodgers of Carman; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Connie Graham and her son Sean Burton of Winnipeg, Michael Graham and son Jon of Calgary, Elizabeth (Beth) and her husband Barry Bartley and their children, Heather, Glen, Greg and Amy of Roland, Robert (Rob) Rodgers and his children, Jessica and Lauren of Morden. Also surviving is one sister Vernie Hodgson and her husband John of Morden; sisters-in-law, Margaret Graham of Oshawa, ON and Dorothy Graham of Dartmouth, NS; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Catherine (Kay) was predeceased by one brother John Findlay; and three sisters, Martha Phillipson, Margaret McIntosh and Maude Norton. She will be fondly remembered for her sense of humour and for being known as the "peppermint lady". Kay was known as a people person who loved music and participating in the activities at the Boyne Lodge. She was spry well into her 80s and always loved to visit and joke. A private family funeral service will be held from Doyles Funeral Chapel in Carman on Tuesday, January 11 at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Val Cottrill officiating. Interment will take place in the family plot at Greenwood Cemetery, Carman. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carman Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, in care of Ruth Anderson, Carman, MB R0G 0J0, or to the Boyne Lodge, Box 910, Carman, MB R0G 0J0.
