DENIS EDOUARD CLEMENT October 4, 1922 - January 7, 2000 With deepest sorrow, we announce the passing of our dearly beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, Denis, on Friday, January 7, 2000, at the St. Boniface General Hospital. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years Helene; four daughters, Marguerite of Kelowna, BC, Diane Descoteaux and son-in-law Roger, Monique, all of Winnipeg, and Suzanne Berard of St. Jean Baptiste. He also leaves to mourn his brother Venance and sister-in-law Marie-Flore of Winnipeg, sister Marie-Therese of Winnipeg; five grandchildren, Rheal and Nicole Descoteaux, Helen Clement, Anita and Patrick Berard; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Reynald; brother Lucien, and nephew Luc. Born and raised in Morris, on October 4, 1922, Denis farmed with his Dad until he married Helene Hebert in 1947. He purchased his own farmland in 1949. Denis worked the farm with his wife at his side. He was a loving husband and father. He retired from farming in 1987. In 1997 Denis and Helene moved to the town of Morris. We would like to express our sincere appreciation for the loving and compassionate care given to him during his illness, to the staff of St. Boniface Hospital, Dr. Verrelli, Dr. Hugh Smith, and Dr. M. Fraser and staff of the Morris Hospital. The funeral mass will be celebrated at the St. Maurice Roman Catholic Church in Morris on Wednesday, January 12 with viewing at 1:30 p.m. and mass at 2:00 p.m. Following cremation, interment will be in the Morris Cemetery. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or the Kidney Foundation. Arrangements by the Morris Funeral Home. We love you, and we will miss you Dad
