ERNEST JOHN HIEBERT December 25, 1916- January 9, 2000 Peacefully on January 9, 2000 at the Carman Boyne Lodge, Ernie passed away. Ernie was born on December 25, 1916 at Altona, Man. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Helen and his children, Lynda (Frank) Warkentin, Ken (Val) Hiebert, Ron (Lil) Hiebert, Myrna (Richard) Wiens; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. During his life he farmed at Altona and Sperling. He retired and moved to Carman in 1974. Many thanks to the nurses and doctors at the Carman Hospital and Boyne Lodge. Funeral service will be held at the Carman Gospel Light Church in Carman, Man. on Thursday, January 13, at 1:00 p.m. Viewing will be held from Doyles Funeral Chapel in Carman on Wednesday, January 12, at 7:00 p.m. and prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mennonite Central Committee. Doyles of Carman in care of arrangements.
