GARFIELD THOMAS KISSACK March 24, 1946 - January 7, 2000 On January 7, 2000 our Dad Garfield Kissack died peacefully while working. He finally used up his nine lives. Garfield was a very unique individual. He was a mathematical wizard, a savvy businessman, a jack of all trades and most of all, a really good Dad. As kids, our hockey and ringette games were always more important than a big sale in real estate, as adults, our problems always more important than his own. His ideas and inventions, although sometimes really crazy, made every visit with him interesting. He could figure out a calculus problem before we could look up the answer, he could build or fix quite literally anything and he really could sell ice to the Eskimos. Nothing Dad did in life fit into the range of "the norm", so we arent going to try to do the norm in his passing. We will be holding a memorial service at the Norwood Hotel on Thursday, January 13 between 6:00 and 9:00 p.m. Anyone who would like to celebrate his life is welcome to attend. Dad, you me and Ted... confederate flags, booze guns... sobriety, love, kindness peace... change is/was possible... I love you Dadly-Chadly. Grandpa, you were nice to me. I really loved you Ill miss you. Love "Your little angel from hell". Kitzianna Dad The Kid is smarter than me. Ditto her words, with all my heart. Coco Dear Dad, I love you so much. Im really going to miss the surprise visits and spotting you walking down the street. No matter what youre building in Heaven, Ill always need you as my Head, Head, Head tire changer. Ill never forget you. Your Goosey, Kierra God, Grant us the serenity to accept the things we can not change, courage to change the things we can and the wisdom to know the difference, Amen. The Club
