GEORGINA TURPIE (nee BOYD) Georgina Turpie passed away at the Tuxedo Villa Extendicare Nursing Home on January 7, 2000, at the age of eighty-eight years. She was predeceased by her loving husband of fifty-one years, Andy; brothers Robert and Arthur Boyd, and Grandson Jason Turpie. Ena will be lovingly remembered by her son David (Carolyn) of Thompson, MB; daughter Linda (David) Welwood of High River, AB; grandson Cory Turpie; granddaughters Jodi (Shaun) Conlin, Lori (Jay) Haralson, great grandson Logan Conlin; sister Margaret Scott of Regina; sister-in-law Yvonne Boyd of Winnipeg; and many nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 14, 2000 in the McClure United Church, 533 Greenwood Place, with the Rev. Hugo Unruh officiating.
