ALAIN "TOOTER" PICTON It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father, son and brother, Alain "Tooter" Picton, on January 8, 2000 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 35 years. Tooter is lovingly remembered by his wife Joanne (nee Nicolas) and his two young sons, Cody (3 years) and Kieran (1 years). He will also be remembered by his parents, Michel and Cecile Picton; his eight siblings, Doris (Gerry) Fay, Fern (Kathleen), Jackie (Dennis) Major, Andrea (Robert) Van Damme, Leonie (Ken) Cabernel, Norbert (Betty), Lorraine (Marcel Hardy), Richard (Lianne) his in-laws, Leo and Noella Nicolas, Leo Jr. (Michelle) and Brigitte. Tooter is survived by his nieces and nephews, Micheline, Rachelle, Normand, Gilbert, Gabriel, Elizabeth, Jennifer, Jeremy, Andrew, Joanna, Jason, Tracy, Bryson, Curtis, Ashley, James, Michel, Nicholas, Nicole, Dylan, Logan and Taryn. He was predeceased by his sister Lucille in infancy. On May 6, 1964, Tooter came into the world and became the ninth child in the Picton household. He was everyones baby. He was born and raised in Somerset, where he grew up with strong family beliefs. His family, friends and co-workers were his life. He worked hard, he played hard. Tooters favourite hobbies were making beer and being in Stephenfield with his family. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday, January 13 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Timothy Parish, 135 John Forsyth Rd. with Father Paul Campeau presiding. Cremation will follow.
