CAROLINE (CARRIE) NIZALIK (Nee Molinski) Peacefully on Sunday, January 9, 2000, at the Seven Oaks Hospital, Caroline Nizalik passed away at the age of 93. She was predeceased by her beloved husband William; brothers, Walter, Victor, Casmer and Edward Molinski; sisters, Frances Petrokowski and Marge Rochette. Caroline was born January 29, 1906 in Brokenhead, MB. She moved to Winnipeg at an early age and resided here for the remainder of her life. She leaves to mourn her daughters Marlene Miller, Victoria (Paul) Latocki and one son Roy; grandchildren, Wayne, Terry (Jeanie) Miller, Melody, Elizabeth, Rod, Chris (Jerri) Nizalik; great-grandchildren Andrew Miller, Dallas and Jesse Nizalik; her sisters Anne (Matt) Blezius, Lillian Galushka, Kay Weselak and her brother Stan (Bertha) Molinski and numerous nieces and nephews. Caroline was a lifetime member of the St. John Cantius Fraternal Aid Society and she was very active until a few years ago in various seniors organizations. She was dedicated to her family, home, garden and flower beds, also enjoyed travelling. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the nurses and staff in Unit 6 Geriatrics of the Seven Oaks Hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 13 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Cantius Roman Catholic Church, 846 Burrows Avenue with Rev. Fr. Henryk Uczniak officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Wayne Miller, Chris Nizalik, Paul Letwin, Leonard Weselak, Roy Price and Bill Andrusiak. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements 586-8044.
