LOLLA ROBERTSON (nee JACKSON) On January 10, 2000 after a brief fight with cancer, Lolla Jane Robertson passed away peacefully at the Tiger Hills Health Centre, Treherne, Man. at the age of 87 years and 11 months, beloved wife of the late Douglas Robertson of Treherne, Man. Lolla leaves to mourn her passing and to cherish her loving memory one daughter, Margaret and husband Clare Scammell; one grandson Jason Scammell; two sisters, Gertrude and husband Stanley Whalen and Lillian and husband Albert Woodward; three brothers, Duncan and wife Thelma Jackson, Myles and wife Nellie Jackson, and Calvin and wife Lorna Jackson; three sisters-in-law, Ellen Jackson, Gertrude Robertson and Edna Jackson; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Douglas on March 16, 1987; parents, Alexander and Gertrude Jackson (nee Longdon) four brothers, Archie, James, Irvine and Arthur Jackson; and sister-in-law Iris Jackson. Funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Alan Armstrong from the Treherne United Church, Treherne, Man. on Thursday, January 13, 2000 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Bethel Cemetery.
