LYNDA JOANNE DOWSETT (nee KETTER) April 14, 1940 - January 9, 2000 A BEAUTIFUL LIGHT WENT OUT! Peacefully, and with family at her side, our loving and gentle Wife, Mom, Nana, Daughter, relative and friend went to her eternal rest. "Lynn" is survived by her husband of almost 30 years, Doug; her daughter Brandy (Kevin) Driedger; and her beloved angels, Sage and Madison Driedger; her son Kelly and the love of his life Crystal; Lynns Mom and Dad, Joe and Nettie Ketter as well as her mother-in-law Blanche Dowsett. "Lynn had survived a myriad of health problems that escalated the last 21 years of her life. She gave me the two most precious gifts in our life - daughter Brandy and son Kelly. She had polio as a young girl and endured many hardships, including curvature of the spine (scoliocis). She lived with pain daily and always put our family first. She was loving, gentle, giving and totally unselfish. She taught us "unconditional love." Lynns other great love was our annual trek to Falcon Lake. Personally, she had been going since 1954. This was her "little piece of heaven." Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 15, at 2:00 p.m. in Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. #1 East at Navin Road, with Rev. Fr. M. Jeanneau officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lynns memory may be made to the Winnipeg Harvest Inc., 1085 Winnipeg Ave., Winnipeg, MB, R3E 0S2 or any charity of your choice would be appreciated. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to Dr. D. Caners and all the staff who helped with Lynda, especially Katarina Guenther who was with her till the end. God Bless you all!!
