Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryROSE WINNIFRED BADGLEY (nee BILBEY) Peacefully, on Wednesday, January 5, 2000, Mrs. Rose Badgley, aged 87, passed away at the Oakview Place Extendicare, Winnipeg, Manitoba. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters June (Don Russell) Gluck, Joyce (Brian) Stobert, son-in-law Patrick Barry; grandchildren Debi Scott, Reena (Monty) Young, Bob Paseshnik, Daniel and Derek Barry, and great-grandson Steven Scott. She also leaves to mourn, her sister Marjorie Trotter of Toronto, and brother Herbert (Evelyn) Bilbey of Comox, BC. Mrs. Badgley was predeceased by her husband Clarence in 1983; her daughter Jo-Ann Barry in 1999, as well as her sisters Ivy Ainsworth, Grace Jansen, Mabel Agnew, Beatrice Bilbey and her brothers Charles, Robert and George Bilbey. Mrs. Badgley was born on May 10, 1912 in (Cowdery) Eriksdale, Manitoba where her family settled after coming from England in 1907. She later moved to Winnipeg where she met her late husband and raised her family. She worked alongside her husband for many years in their family owned business. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff of Oakview Place for their kindness, care and compassion. By her own request, Rose Badgley was cremated and a private family memorial service was held. She was interred alongside her husband in the Brookside Cemetery. THOMSON FUNERAL CHAPELS 783-7211
