VINCENZA DELLOSPEDALE ALONGI (nee FOLISI) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Vincenza Dellospedale Alongi at the age of 73, on Monday, January 11, 2000. Vincenza was born in Calascibetta, Italy. She was predeceased by her brothers Giuseppe and Gaetano Folisi, and her sister Giovanna Folisi. She is survived by her husband Carmelo, sister Francesca Folisi, and daughters Franca (Francesco) Lionetti and Rita Dellospedale; granddaughters Maddalena and Loredana Lionetti. She will be greatly missed by numerous relatives and friends in Winnipeg and in Italy. Prayers will be said on Thursday, January 13, at 7:30 P.M. in the Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Avenue. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday January 14, at 10:00 A.M., also in the church, with Father Ron Pasinato presiding at the Eucharist. Entombment to follow at Chapel of Eternal Memories Mausoleum, 1501 Waverley Street. Pallbearers will be: Carmelo Alongi, Maurizio Alongi, Riccardo Alongi, Helder Calheiros, Giuseppe Lionetti and Domenico Scarpino. Nonna, Mom, we will miss you more than you can ever imagine. We love you and forever will you be in our hearts. Nonna, youve brought much happiness in our lives and have taught us many wonderful things, that we will keep dear to our hearts. Your smiles, friendliness, happiness, strength, and unique sense of humour; will always be admired. You always brought sunshine to our days.
