ANNE (ANNIE) RYMAR Our Dear Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 11, 2000 at Tudor House. Anne was born on July 13, 1906 in the Ukraine and immigrated to Canada at a very young age. She settled in Chatfield, MB where she married John and together they farmed and raised three sons and one daughter. Anne loved the frequent visits by her children and grandchildren. She was always a bundle of personality, who loved conversing with everyone, loved singing, gardening and her farm cats. Anne lived on their Chatfield farm until her early 80s when she moved into Tudor House Personal Care Home in Selkirk. Granny loved candy and fruit and always had a secret stash hidden somewhere. Annie is survived by her son Fred of Chatfield; her granddaughter Eileen Stephanchew; great-grandson Michael; grandson Gary Pawlychka and his wife Colleen; great-grandchildren, Stephen and Julie. Annie was predeceased by her husband John in 1974; sons, Nick in 1975, William in 1991 and daughter Mary Pawlychka in 1994. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 17 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chatfield Community Hall. Interment to follow in St. Demitrious Cemetery, Chatfield. We would like to extend a heartfelt Thank You to all the staff at Tudor House for their tender loving care of Granny. MacKenzie Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
