ERNEST HEICHERT Born in Melville, Sask., October 14, 1926, resided in Winnipeg until 1981 when he moved to B.C. Ernie passed away in the Salmon Arm General Hospital, January 9, 2000. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Olga. Survived by five children, grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nieces and nephews, three brothers, four sisters and many dear friends. Ernie was an active member of the Gizah Shriners Clown Unit and spent much of his time entertaining children as Okee the Clown. He was loved and will be missed by many. A service will be held January 15 at the Gizah Temple in Burnaby. Interment at the Masonic Cemetery. Donations may be sent in Ernies honour to the Gizah Transportation Fund, 3550 Waybourne St., Burnaby, BC, V5G 3K9.
