He and wife Helen spent many years in the theatre business in St. James. Tom was a driving force behind many of the numerous family business ventures, some of which will carry on as his legacy. He belonged to various business and cultural organizations, and always took pride in his Ukrainian heritage. Tom was a man who loved his family and his grandchildren, and took great pride in their accomplishments. They all loved their "Gedo". As a lasting testimonial to his great love for family, are the two beautiful cottages at Lake of the Woods. A place he loved so dearly, and found peace and contentment.
