WILLIAM POBIHUSCA It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of William (Bill) Pobihusca, age 72, on January 12, 2000 at the Concordia Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. He leaves to mourn his wife of 46 years, Linda; son David, daughter Cheryl (Gary) grandchildren, Kevin and Michael; aunt Verna Terlesky of Salmon Arm, BC; and great-aunt Katrin of International Falls. Bill was predeceased by his parents; two brothers; a sister and his stepdad. He worked for the C.N.R. as a locomotive engineer for 39 years. Bill loved his job and the people he worked with. His unique qualities of friendship were outstanding and he was admired by all who knew him. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 17 at 1:00 p.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Pastor Alan Redmond of the W.W. Church of God will conduct the service. Burial to follow in the family plot, Transcona Cemetery. Bills pallbearers will be Norman Lafontaine, Bill Wallie, Peter Vasko, Reg Kaake, son David and son-in-law Gary.
