Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryOLIVE McKAY May 20, 1943 - January 13, 2000 It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Olive McKay (nee Ferland), on January 13, 2000. A devoted, loving wife, mother, sister, Co-Co, Auntie. Olive was born May 20, 1943 at Duck Bay, Manitoba. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband of 35 years, Oscar; daughters, Darlene (Mark), Tammy (Melvin), Bernice; nine grandchildren, Marsha, Monica, Shawn, Thomas, Stephanie, Kristy, Melissa, Kayleen and Cory; sister Gloria; brothers, Albert, Howard and Paul; numerous relatives and friends. Olive was predeceased by her parents Jonas and Sarah Ferland; brothers, Wallace and Clifford Ferland. Prayers will be held at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave., Sunday, January 16, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wake will be held Monday, January 17 at Duck Bay. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 18 at Duck Bay, St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Duck Bay Cemetery. Aboriginal Funeral Home 586-7700

aww my coco its been so many years too many but i still miss you so much even before i ran into this thing about you when you originally died there was really no internet or things but i miss you so much n i love you i kinda feel better about marsha dieing on me knowing she was just going to be with you. i got her to be buried next to you cuz you guys were so close grandpa said he'll be buried at your guys feet cuz he gave his spot for her when you guys were suppose to be next to each other forever but just knowing it was marsha i know you would have been happy to let her have that spot other than grandpa. the original place he was suppose to spend his eternal life next to you, but i know grandpa will be happy as long as hes near you girls its 13 years coco i still miss you like crazy miss everything about you. you were the best grandma i could ever ask for the only grandma i ever had i'll never forget you and i hope you and marsha watch down on the family and don't let anymore pain in our lives for awhile luv u coco n marsha my angels watching down on us :) - Posted by: monica (granddaughter) on: Aug 15, 2013
