GURNEK S. GILL Suddenly, on January 16, 2000 at the Health Sciences Centre, Gurnek S. Gill died peacefully at the age of 47 years. Gurnek will be lovingly remembered by his wife Devinderjit; children, Jasmeen, Sukvir, Kim and Gurveer; his parents Malagar and Satnam Gill of India. Also surviving are brothers, Gurtej (Manjit) of India, Gurmail (Sukhpal), sister Paramjit Brar (Gurdev) of India and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 20 at 12:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1501 Waverley Street, followed by Akhand-Path Bhog in the Sikh Society of Manitoba, 1244 Mollard Road at 3:00 p.m. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the Health Sciences Centre for their care and support.
