GWENITH GLADYS DONOVAN (HODGE)

Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGWENITH GLADYS DONOVAN (nee HODGE) Peacefully after a short illness, Gwenith passed away at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 71 years. Gwenith was predeceased by her parents, James and Dorothy Hodge; brother Frank Hodge; and infant sister Ruth. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Christina and fiance Jim Douglas; sons, Patrick, Kevin and wife Susan, Timothy, all of Winnipeg; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Davis of Port Colborne, ON, Winnie (Donald) Motheral of Princeton, Helen (Paul) Langlotz of Winnipeg, Nancy (Richard) Newstead of Brantford, ON; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. Gwenith was born in Brantford, ON on December 16, 1928. She retired after working 30 years in various departments with Federal Civil Service. During the past few years she was very active in the Tenants Association of McClure Place. Funeral service for Gwenith will be held on Thursday, January 20 at 1:30 p.m. at McClure United Church, 533 Greenwood Place. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in Gweniths memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6 or the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, 301 - 352 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3B 2H8. Our family extends special thanks to Dr. Katz and the staff at 5E, St. Boniface Hospital, for the care given to our mother.
