Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryISABELLE LAZARUK Isabelle Lazaruk passed away at St. Boniface Hospital on January 14, 2000. Isabelle was born May 24, 1924. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Steve in 1996. Steve and Isabelle travelled extensively abroad and throughout Canada and the United States. The highlight of their travels was a cruise, Steve recalling memories of his service in the navy. Membership in the Central Retired Fitness Club was very special in Isabelles life. She valued the fellowship and friendships over the many years she attended. Isabelle is survived by her nieces, Evelyn Kovak and Marilyn (Brian) Gaffney of Toronto, Lillian Bridge of Trenton, Ontario and their families. Isabelle also leaves many cousins throughout Canada. Isabelle was predeceased by her parents, George and Helena Morrison and her brother Jim, all of Regina. Isabelle asked that a special thank you be given to her many friends who gave her their love and support during her lengthy illness, particular thanks to Dr. Lotacki, Bernice, all the doctors, nurses and staff of the palliative care ward of St. Boniface Hospital and also the VO nurses for their care and kindness. Isabelle bore her adversities with much dignity and courage, she will be missed. Cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate this gracious ladys life will take place at Holy Trinity Church, Donald and Graham at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 20. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Society or a charity of your choice. Rest in peace Isabelle. Cropo Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements, phone 586-8044.
