MARY JOHNSON Widow of Cecil Johnson of Morris, MB. passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 16, 2000 at the age of 88 years. Mary was also predeceased by her brother Mike Lewonchuk of Winnipeg and by two granddaughters Laura and Erin Johnson of Winnipeg. Mary is survived by daughter Debra Valdivia and sons Fred Johnson of Winnipeg, John Johnson of Vancouver, and Hugh Johnson of Calgary. Mary also leaves behind eight grandchildren, Ivan, Chris and Jeff Valdivia, Sheila and Lauren Johnson of Winnipeg, Bryce, Carey and Paula Johnson of Calgary. The family would like to extend warm appreciation to the caring staff at the Central Park Lodge in Winnipeg for their encouragement and generous hospitality during Marys declining health. The family also wishes to thank the members of the Morris Chapter of the Rebekah Lodge for their support throughout the years. Chapel service will be held Thursday, January 20 at 2:00 p.m. at the Morris Funeral Home followed by a gathering at the Davidson Centre.
