SHIRLEY PENNER Peacefully on Sunday, January 16, 2000 at the K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, with her family by her side, Shirley Penner of Kitchener, aged 69 years. Shirley was proud to be born in Winnipeg, the only daughter of the late William Johnstone and the former Margery Hepworth. Beloved wife of Jack for 49 years. Loving mother of Craig and his wife Cheryl of Didsbury, Alberta, Scott and his wife Linda of Cambridge, Elliott and his wife Karen of Sparta, New Jersey and Teryl Ferrede and her husband Rob of Waterloo. Sadly missed by nine grandchildren, Erin, Lee, Greg, Kelsey, Brayden, Reagan, Taryn, Carlyn and Kiana. Friends and relatives may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of funeral and committal services in the chapel at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Rob Towler officiating. Cremation. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the K-W Health Centre would be appreciated by the family.
