WALTER BORYS Quietly, at the St. Boniface Hospital, Walter Borys passed away on January 13, 2000. He was born July 22, 1927. Walter was predeceased by his mother and father and by a brother and sister. He has left to mourn, his wife Ruth Viola; his children; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; daughter Barbara, grandson Shane (Tara) and great-grandchildren, Alannah and Hunter; son Stanley, granddaughter Jacquie (Jim) and great-grandchildren, Rebecca and Jacob, grandchildren, Trisha and Bradley; daughter Leslie (Brian), granddaughter Michelle. A private family viewing will be held Tuesday evening. Funeral service will be conducted by Pastor L. Zagozewski on Wednesday, January 19 at 11:00 a.m. at the Transcona Funeral Chapel, 1800 Day St. Burial will follow at the Transcona Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Shane Anderson, Jim Tokar, Bill Anderson, Brian Hamilton, Gerald Suggit and Ron Boychuk. Honourary bearers will be George Nys and Mike Klymochko. Following the burial a reception will be held at the chapel. Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.
