CASMIR PETER RODZINSKI It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Casmir Rodzinski on Monday, January 17, 2000. He leaves to mourn and lovingly remember him, his wife of 51 years, Lillian; daughters, Karen Hlady (Ken), Connie Walterson (Kevin), Sandra Hemminger (Don) and his beloved grandchildren, Sherri, Kathy, Andrew, Shannon, Roxanne, Stacey and Peter. He is also survived by two brothers, Walter of Winnipeg and Stanley of Vancouver. He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Mary; sisters, Julia Blaschuk, Frances Phillips, Sophie Rodzinski, and brothers, Joe, Wesley, John and Michael. Casmir was born on July 18, 1923 in Cooks Creek, Man. He served overseas in the Second World War. Upon his return, he met and married Lillian Kenis in 1948. He worked for Simmons Plumbing and Heating for nine years. He then went to work for C.N.R. where he stayed until his retirement in 1984. Pallbearers will be Ron Rodzinski, Douglas Rodzinski, Mark Aikens, Paul Rodzinski, Ron Hnatiuk and Brian Hnatiuk. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kevin Walterson, Don Hemminger and Ken Hlady. Prayers will be held on Thursday, January 20 at 7:00 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, January 21 at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Garson, Man. with Rev. Fr. S. Gacki presiding.
