FRANCIS (FRANK) RAYMOND BURKE January 13, 1937 - January 16, 2000 Suddenly at his residence Francis Raymond Burke passed away after a lengthy illness on January 16, 2000 at the age of 63, dearly beloved husband of Kathleen Burke. Surviving besides his wife Kathleen of 31 years are his son Jamie; and daughters, Christine (Andre) and Denise (Conrad) granddaughters, Brittany, Kailey and Courtney; mother and father-in-law, Donald and Mary Hyde; sisters-in-law, Darlene Harris and Donna Hyde; brother-in-law Danny Hyde; nephews, Jason (Corrie) Harris and Mike Harris; nieces, Jennifer (Ryan) Harris and Michelle (Rod) Sveistrup; great-nephews, Michael and Danny Harris. Predeceased by granddaughter Jessica in 1993, brother-in-law Bill Harris, sister-in-law Jackaleen and niece Jody. Frank had been employed by the Winnipeg Airport for 20 years and retired in 1997 due to poor health. Funeral service will be held at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, 315 Munroe Ave. on Friday, January 21 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Greg Mulligan officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason Harris, Mike Harris, Andre Popiel and Dennis Hickson. Viewing will be held at St. Alphonsus Church, 315 Munroe Ave., on Thursday evening, January 20 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Interment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. We would like to thank Dr. G. L. E. Ullyot for the medical care and support given to Frank through the years. Frank lived on Harbison Avenue for 31 years and was well known in his community and a friend to all who knew him.
